Alternative metal icons Deftones have announced the cancellation of their planned shows in Ukraine and Russia. The cancellation emerges in light of the ongoing conflict in the region regarding Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
A statement issued by the group on the matter earlier today (March 29th) reads:
“With deep regret, we will be cancelling our Ukraine and Russia shows in July. We’re hoping we’ll be able to return to play soon. We hope everyone is safe.
