Danny Carey, drummer for the enigmatic alternative metal overlords in Tool, is known to tour with an extensive drum kit which he punishes on a nightly basis while the band is out on tour. Inevitably with so many moving parts, something will go wrong and that’s where his tech Joe Slaby comes in. Via footage recently shared by Slaby on his social media, you can watch Carey get a broken snare swapped out mid-song without Carey missing the beat, all via a brief series of glances and looks.
