Cage Claypool, son of Primus, etc. bass virtuoso/vocalist Les Claypool, has been pursuing his passion behind the camera in recent years. You may have even seen some of his work, as he helped direct his father and Metallica bassist/vocalist Robert Trujillo in their Spaghetti Western-inspired short ‘Precious Metals‘, in addition to overseeing various other shorts.
For his latest project, he teamed with musician (and Primus production assistant) Ryan O’Hara for the below piece, which Cage described as a ‘music collab between myself and Ryan O’Hara‘. As you’ll hear below, the apple apparently didn’t fall too far from the tree.
