Multi-instrumentalist Billy Howerdel will be playing his debut solo show later this month as part of the #Happens conference in Las Vegas, NV. That performance will find the multi-platinum songwriter behind A Perfect Circle & ASHES dIVIDE take to the stage at The Fremont Country Club on February 23rd as part of a kick-off party event being put out on by Shelter Music Group, Alchemy Recordings and Danny Wimmer Presents. Spirit Of The Bear and Our Lady Peace will also be playing that event.
For this upcoming live show, Howerdel recruited Josh Freese (ex-Nine Inch Nails/A Perfect Circle, etc.), Danny Lohner (ex-Nine Inch Nails, etc.), Kaela Sinclair of M83 and Kevin Maher of Fake Shark as his backing band.
Furthermore, Howerdel also has an as-yet untitled solo album in the works, the first single from which has been revealed to be “Poison Flowers“. That track is set to debut on March 04th through Alchemy Recordings/BMG and can be pre-saved here. A teaser for it has been shared in advance below.
Speaking of what fans can expect from his forthcoming album, Howerdel offered, “This new album was birthed while on tour with A Perfect Circle. A weird blend of confidence, vulnerability and mortality urgently compelled me to write a letter of sorts in the form of an album.”
