The nominees are out for this year’s ‘IHeartRadio Music Awards‘, which will be handed out in an awards ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA set to air on March 22nd. This year’s rock categories include the following hopefuls:

Elsewhere in the awards is the socially voted category of ‘Best Cover Song’, which finds Miley Cyrus‘ cover of Metallica‘s “Nothing Else Matters” in contention. That song found Cyrus joined by Watt, Elton John, Yo-Yo Ma, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Metallica‘s own bassist Robert Trujillo.
The Foo Fighters have also landed a nod in the socially voted ‘Best Comeback Album’ category. Their latest album “Medicine At Midnight” is among the nominees, standing alongside industry heavyweights Adele, Drake and more.
