Primus vocalist/bass wizard Les Claypool will be resurrecting his Les Claypool’s Bastard Jazz this year for an April 28th live show at the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans, LA. That project previously took to the stage for some scattered performances around 2019/2020.
If the band’s past sets are anything to go by, you can expect to catch tons of improv, Primus covers and more at the show. The collective finds Claypool joined by Galactic, etc. drummer Stanton Moore, percussionist Mike Dillon (Critters Buggin, Les Claypool’s Fancy Band, etc.) and saxophonist Skerik (Critters Buggin, etc.).
