Asking Alexandria Score Two New Gold Singles In The United States

Asking Alexandria have reason to celebrate this week, having just notched up a new pair of gold singles in the United States. First up is the track “Moving On” from their 2013 album “Death To Destiny“. Also newly going gold is the single “Alone In A Room” from their 2017 self-titled album.

These singles were both certified gold by the RIAA on January 11th and are the band’s third and fourth singles to earn them gold plaques. Previous certifications were issued for “Not The American Average” in 2017 and “Final Episode (Let’s Change The Channel)” in 2013.

A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit.
