Toni Cornell, daughter of the late grunge great Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave, etc.), was on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘ last night. She took to covering Prince‘s “Nothing Compares 2 U” on the program. That cover choice of course was played in tribute to her father, who himself went viral online with his stunning live in-studio performance of the track for Sirius XM. His rendition of the song was also further included on last year’s posthumously released covers album, “No One Sings Like You Anymore, Vol. 1″.
