Zeal & Ardor‘s new single “Golden Liar” has newly premiered online. The band’s mastermind Manuel Gagneux had the following to say of this song, which is the fifth to be released from the group’s forthcoming self-titled new album.
“‘Golden Liar‘ is one of the tracks on this record I’m most proud of. Unlike singles released previously from the new album, it’s a slow burn. Rather than using harsh tones to convey heaviness, it uses lyrics and atmosphere to convey weight. It’s both smoke and fire.”

The band’s aforementioned third studio album is headed for a February 11th release date. At the moment Zeal & Ardor are winding down a North American tour with Opeth and Mastodon, here’s the remaining dates:
