Brass Against Onstage At Welcome To Rockville 2021

Police Investigating Brass Against Singer’s Recent Onstage Urination On A Fan

In an expected development, the Daytona Beach Police Department have opened an investigation into the recent onstage antics of Brass Against frontwoman Sophia Urista at this past week’s ‘Welcome To Rockville‘ festival in Daytona Beach, FL.

While performing a Rage Against The Machine cover with her band onstage at the festival this past Thursday, November 11th, Urista complained that she had to pee while onstage, but was unable to use a restroom due show commitments.

This led to her eventually calling for volunteers to be peed on, with her inviting one willing fan onstage who she then proceeded to relieve herself on. NSFW footage of all that transpiring circulated widely online over the weekend and can be found here.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal now report that the incident was brought to the attention of local authorities and the matter is currently being looked into. Like most of North America, It is presently illegal for one to expose their sexual organs in public or in the private premises of another in Florida if done so in a vulgar or indecent manner.

The charge of indecent exposure in Florida, if laid, can carry up to a max of one year in jail or a $1,000 fine. In the aftermath of the onstage urination, Brass Against themselves issued the below statement:

“We had a great time in Daytona last night at Welcome To Rockville.

Sophia got carried away.

That’s not something the rest of us expected, and it’s not something you’ll see again at Brass Against shows.

Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona.”
