Brass Against Issue Statement After Their Singer Urinated On Fan Onstage At A Recent Festival: “Sophia Got Carried Away”

Brass Against have issued a statement following the now infamous actions of their vocalist Sophia Urista onstage at this week’s ongoing ‘Welcome To Rockville‘ festival in Datyona Beach, FL.

After complaining that she had to pee during Brass Against‘s set at the festival this past Thursday, November 11th, she singled out a volunteer from the audience, who she then invited to come up onstage and be urinated on.

The incident took place during the band’s set-closing performance of their cover of Rage Against The Machine‘s “Wake Up“. NSFW footage of that transpiring in front of a live audience can be found below.

In a statement issued Friday Night (November 12th), Brass Against commented on the matter:

“We had a great time in Daytona last night at Welcome To Rockville.

Sophia got carried away.

That’s not something the rest of us expected, and it’s not something you’ll see again at Brass Against shows.

Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona.”
