System Of A Down have rescheduled their planned shows in Los Angeles, CA this weekend to February 04th and 05th. The group were originally scheduled to hit the stage for a pair of performances at the Banc Of California Stadium with Korn, Helmet and Russian Circles this Friday and Saturday.
Those shows have now been rescheduled as a result of System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian testing positive for COVID-19. The band issued the below statement in regards to that earlier today, October 21st.
“It is with great regret that we must reschedule our Los Angeles performances to February 4th and 5th, 2022. Despite multiple precautionary measures, Serj has unfortunately tested positive for COVID. We’re sorry to disappoint our amazing fans with this last minute news, as we could not wait to finally play for you.
However, the health of our band, crew, venue staff and all of our fans is our top priority. All tickets will be honored the rescheduled dates. Refund availability will be sent to all ticket buyers via email.”
System Of A Down had only just returned to the road last weekend, performing their first shows since 2019.
