eOne Heavy, the metal and hard rock focused imprint of eOne Music, have relaunched themselves as MNRK Heavy. The rebranding is part of a company-wide decision for eOne Music, which itself is now known as MNRK Music Group after having been sold by Hasbro to investment banking firm Blackstone for $385 million. Much of the staff, including president/CEO Chris Taylor will continue on with the renamed label. Notably the name change was part of a contractual obligation via the sale from Hasbro.
The above mentioned imprint label’s roster includes the likes of Black Label Society, Pop Evil, High On Fire and many more.
