The Foo Fighters were presented with the first-ever ‘Global Icon‘ award during last night’s (September 12th) MTV Music Video Awards‘. The group also performed a medley of their songs “Learn To Fly“, “Shame Shame” and “Everlong” during their appearance, you can watch the footage of that below. Ultimately the band didn’t manage to take home any of the three awards they up for however, as those categories played out as follows:
