Static-X Announce “Machine” 20th Anniversary Tour With Fear Factory & Dope

Static-X will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their gold-certified 2001 sophomore album “Machine” next year on their ‘Rise Of The Machine Tour‘. That trek will also feature Fear Factory and Dope, while Mushroomhead and Twiztid will also appear on select dates. Fear Factory will be celebrating their 30th anniversary on that run, which will find them out with their as-yet unannounced new frontman. Dope will be out celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2001 album “Life“, which spawned their most popular song to date, “Die MF Die“.

As with Static-X‘s “Wisconsin Death Trip” anniversary touring, the band will once again have ‘Xer0‘ performing in place of their late frontman Wayne Static. Though yet to ever be officially confirmed, ‘Xer0‘ has widely been shown to be Dope frontman Edsel Dope.

Static-X commented of the upcoming tour:

“We are so excited to finally get back out on the road. We plan to play most of the songs off of both ‘Machine‘ and ‘Wisconsin Death Trip‘, as well a number of nice surprises that are being incorporated into the set list. It is going to be awesome to have Fear Factory, Dope, & Mushroomhead back out on the road with us to share in all of this nostalgic insanity.

All in all, this package is going to be one for the ages and we can’t wait to get out there and celebrate 20 years of our ‘Machine‘ record, while we continue to remember all of the good times that we had with Wayne and to share it live and loud with all of our fans night after night.”

Fear Factory‘s Dino Cazares offered:

“I’m beyond excited to finally turn the Fear Factory machine back on and start crushing stages alongside our longtime friends in Static-X.”

Dope‘s Edsel Dope offered:

“We are honored to be part of this tour. Static-X, Fear Factory, & Dope toured together back in 1999. It was the first time that we all met, and it laid the foundation for all of the tours that Dope and Static have done together. I can’t wait to get back out there and get crazy with all the fans!”

In addition to the tour, Static-X will be releasing a 20th anniversary edition of “Machine“. Due out on February 18th, it has newly been remastered by Ulrich Wild and will feature the original album track listing along with the following three bonus tracks:

I’m With Stupid” (Live 2019 Regeneration)
Wisconsin Death Trip” (Live 2019 Regeneration)
Sweat Of The Bud” (Live 2019 Xer0)
