Iron Maiden’s “Senjutsu” Scored The Band Their Highest Debut On The Billboard 200 Yet


Some 46 years into their pioneering career, Iron Maiden have scored their highest charting album in the United States to date. Their seventeenth studio album “Senjutsu” arrived in stores earlier this month and has just opened at #3 on the Billboard 200.

According, 64,000 equivalent album units were moved during the opening week, 61,000 of which were attributed to sales. Streaming equivalent album units amounted to 3,000 of that overall first week sum, equating to 3.57 million on-demand streams of songs from the record.

Prior to this latest achievement, the band’s career high on the Billboard 200 came in the form of “The Final Frontier” and “The Book Of Souls“, both of which bowed at #4.
