Metallica & Miley Cyrus Announce ‘The Howard Stern Show’ Live Performance


Metallica have announced that they will be performing live with Miley Cyrus tomorrow, September 08th on the ‘Howard Stern Show‘ on SiriusXM. If you missed it, Miley Cyrus is among the guests featured on “The Metallica Blacklist“, an upcoming tribute album to Metallica‘s “Black Album” which is due out this Friday, September 10th.

She covered the Metallica track “Nothing Else Matters” for that effort together with Elton John, Andrew Watt, Yo-Yo Ma, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Metallica‘s own bassist Robert Trujillo. You can hear that version of the track here.

Metallica are also scheduled to perform on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘ this Friday, September 10th and have teased “a few surprises.” In addition to the aforementioned tribute album, Metallica will also be releasing a deluxe box set edition of their 1991 self-titled album (aka “The Black Album“) this Friday as well.
