Ben Weinman's Animal Rescue

Suicidal Tendencies/Ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan Guitarist Ben Weinman’s NJ Animal Rescue Hit By Flooding & Extreme Weather

Ben Weinman, current guitarist for Suicidal Tendencies and former driving force behind The Dillinger Escape Plan, has devoted much of his time to running an animal rescue dubbed the ‘Party Smasher Sanctuary‘ alongside his wife Jennifer in recent years.

That sanctuary takes in rescue animals of all types, giving them a better life. Unfortunately, that New Jersey based operation was hit hard by extreme weather this week via the remnants of Hurricane Ida, which saw a tornado touch down in the area as well as some rather devastating flooding.

Thankfully none of the animals were lost and Weinman had some help from his friends to rebuild the fences that were destroyed by the flooding. That said, now could be a good time to perhaps help him Weinman and his operation out on his Patreon, all proceeds from which go towards the aforementioned Animal rescue.

Weinman shared some footage from the flooding and the subsequent rebuilding below. He commented:

“Last night almost my entire animal pen was swept away and all the animals were loose in a tornado. I was lucky enough to get them all locked in the barn eventually. Today we woke up to chaos. My friends came to the rescue and worked all day with me to fix the fencing. I can’t believe how amazing these guys are. Community is everything and I’m so lucky to have these boys and all the awesome people checking in on us. Thank you @keithplumstead @vagrant_forever @brian.metz @franzturdenand @kevvonholt”
