Sepultura To Release “Sepulnation – The Studio Albums 1998 – 2009” Box Set In October


A select collection of Sepultura‘s albums from their ongoing Derrick Green fronted era have been compiled into an upcoming box set dubbed “Sepulnation – The Studio Albums 1998 – 2009“. That set will emerge on October 22nd through BMG in both 8-LP and 5-CD formats, both of which will featuring the albums “Against“, “Nation“, “Roorback“, “Dante XXI” and “A-Lex“. Each outing has been remastered for vinyl.

The band’s 2003 covers EP “Revolusongs” will also be included with the set. That EP featured covers of songs originally performed by the likes of Metallica, Massive Attack, Devo, Jane’s Addiction and more.

A new video for the group’s take on Public Enemy‘s “Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos” from that release, which features late Brazilian rapper Sabotage, has been made available online below.

The band’s frontman Derrick Green commented of the set:

“It’s an honor and privilege to be a part of Sepultura‘s history. I’m proud of all the work we have done together and it only makes sense to have this box set format released for the fans to have the complete history of Sepultura. Long live the Sepulnation!”
