Mutil-platinum popstar The Weeknd has revealed that the music of the Deftones was a “huge” inspiration for him during the creation of his 2012 compilation “Trilogy“. That effort compiled material from past mixtapes of his at the time along with a handful of then previously unreleased songs. Tweeting about it tonight, August 18th, The Weeknd offered:
