Chelsea Grin, Etc. Vocalist Tom Barber Says He Will Refuse To Play Shows That Require Him To Be Vaccinated Against COVID-19

Chelsea Grin/Darko vocalist Tom Barber has announced that he will be refusing to play shows that require him to be vaccinated for COVID-19. His statement arrives as mandatory full COVID-19 vaccination status has begun to be implemented in certain territories for admittance to shows and more.

New York City, NY will soon require proof of a full vaccination for fans to attend shows, sporting events and more. A recent leaked memo from Live Nation also speaks of new standard practices they plan to implement, requiring mandatory vaccination status for Live Nation employees and the ability for artists to require proof of full vaccination status of show attendees on Live Nation tours.

In a story Barber recently shared via his Instagram, Barber briefly touched upon his own apparent personal reluctance to be vaccinated to play a show:

“If your country or state requires me to be vaccinated to play a show I will not play the show.”
