Limp Bizkit Shoot Down Rumors Of Wes Borland Having COVID-19

Limp Bizkit have fired back at the current rumors that a positive COVID-19 diagnosis of their guitarist Wes Borland was to blame for today’s cancellation of their summer tour with Spiritbox. A statement issued by the band on that cancellation earlier today read:

“Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of the band, crew and most of all the fans, the Limp Bizkit show this Monday and the remaining August tour is being cancelled. Refunds are available at their points of purchase. All tickets purchased online will be automatically refunded.”

Since then rumors of Borland‘s health have cropped up and both Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst and Borland himself addressed the matter on their Instagram, sharing the below image:

Borland‘s story post of the same image was slightly altered with the additional text “And I’m vaccinated”. As their posts stated, the band’s new song “Dad Vibes” will be arriving soon, with the group having been debuting a pre-recorded version of it during the outro to their recent live shows on the now scrapped tour.

You can hear good quality audio of that new track from their August 01st performance at this year’s ‘Lollapalooza‘ festival in Chicago, IL here.
