According to Billboard.com, renowned instrument, etc. manufacturer Gibson Brands, Inc. are getting into the record business with plans to launch their own label, Gibson Records in partnership with BMG Records. The label’s first release is expected to be the new album from Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators, which is due out early next year.
Slash himself has largely been a lifelong Gibson player, having released over a dozen signature models through the company.
