Five Finger Death Punch’s “A Little Bit Off” Certified Gold In The United States

Five Finger Death Punch‘s reign as one of the most commercially successful modern metal bands out there continues with yet another gold record being added to their credit. The latest is for the single “A Little Bit Off“, from their current album, 2020’s “F8“.

The song was officially certified gold in the United States by the RIAA yesterday, July 22nd. It is only their second single to be individually awarded by the RIAA, with their cover of Bad Company‘s “Bad Company” previously going platinum in 2013.

Five Finger Death Punch have been in the studio recently working on their ninth studio album with producer Kevin Churko (Disturbed, Papa Roach). Release plans have yet to be revealed. They also have plans to re-record their 2007 gold-certified debut album “The Way Of The Fist” as well.

A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit.
