The frequently controversial career of Nachtmystium once again came to an end last year following a rebirth that took place several years prior with a new lineup. In the years before that the band’s frontman Blake Judd had run the group into the ground, letting his heroin addiction get the better of him, scamming fans and burning various bridges in the process.
Roughly eleven months since Judd pulled the plug on the band for a second time comes the official debut (via Decibel) of the below shelved track “Chemical Catharsis“. Its origins date back to the sessions for the band’s 2006 album “Instinct: Decay“. Should you want a physical copy of the song, you can find it as a flexi disc included with the August 2021 issue of Decibel magazine.
