Anti-COVID-19 vaccine protesters descended upon Foo Fighters‘ intimate club show at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, CA last night, June 15th. The group performed that show exclusively to fully vaccinated fans, a decision that has drawn the disdain from the aforementioned anti-vaxxers.
The performance was a warm-up show for the group’s upcoming 100% capacity gig at Madison Square Garden this Sunday, June 20th. As per that venue’s safety restrictions, all attendees over the age of 16 will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. Those under the age of 16 will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test.
The band’s decision to play these shows exclusively to fully vaccinated fans has been a controversial one, with the band having recently been called out by Right Said Fred and Ricky Schroder (see below).
Those who attended the 610 capacity show were treated to a 23 song set that included the live debut of the title track to their album “Medicine At Midnight” and a cover of Queen‘s “Somebody To Love” with Taylor Hawkins on vocals.
