During the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic last year Metallica helped their fans pass the time with a weekly streaming series of past live concerts dubbed ‘Metallica Mondays‘. That series doubled as a fundraiser that generated over $118,000 for charity. ‘Metallica Mondays‘ originally concluded last August, but will be back for a one-off return next week.
Falling in with their ongoing ‘Month Of Giving’ campaign this month, Metallica will bring back ‘Metallica Monday‘ this Monday, May 24th, with an airing of their September 06th, 2018 set at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. The group will once again be raising funds for their nonprofit All Within My Hands Foundation via this upcoming stream.
