Pearl Jam guitarist/vocalist Stone Gossard has come forward with his admiration for the UK band Tigercub, offering them a spot on his own Loosegroove Records, which he runs alongside Regan Hagar. Gossard tweeted the following about the band earlier today (May 19th) via the Pearl Jam Twitter account:
"I fell in love with this band Tigercub. They are fricken heavy…Then Jamie Hall sent me this new song "Funeral" which is out now. Shit! The man can kill a quiet song as well. Hey @tigercub do you want to sign to @loosegrooveR? Come on!" -Stone

Should you be unfamiliar with Tigercub, their criminally overlooked 2016 album “Abstract Figures In The Dark” would be a good place to start, in particular the track “Control” (see below). The band’s new album “As Blue As Indigo” will be out on June 18th.
