Back in 2002 actress/musician Jada Pinkett Smith indulged in her rock star dreams, forming a nü-metal band dubbed Wicked Wisdom. The group would go on to release two albums, including 2004’s “My Story” and 2006’s self-titled album, while also landing a slot on the second stage of the 2005 ‘Ozzfest‘.
They have been largely dormant since, until recently being resurrected in part by Smith‘s daughter, Willow Smith. As part of a Mother’s Day surprise, Willow, who has been dipping her toes into rock music lately, enlisted Wicked Wisdom guitarist Pocket Honore and more for a surprise Mother’s Day cover of Wicked Wisdom‘s “Bleed All Over Me“.
You can watch that segment begin at around 29:06 into the below episode of ‘Red Table Talk‘ with the actual performance starting at around 32 minutes in.
