Khemmis Part Ways With Bassist Dan Beiers

Khemmis have announced the departure of bassist Dan Beiers, revealing he and the group parted ways this past December. Beiers was a founding member of the group. In a statement issued today (April 16th), Khemmis offered:

“With our impending appearance at the Decibel 200th issue anniversary event, it is time that we let you know that we parted ways with founding member and bassist Dan Beiers in December.

The events of the last year forced us all to reexamine our lives, our capacities to manage our individual mental and physical health, and the state of our relationships both inside and outside of Khemmis.

This decision was the result of that period of reflection and some difficult conversations among the four of us as well as with our loved ones. We are eternally grateful for his contributions and friendship over the years, and we wish him and his family the very best wherever their path leads them next.

Love you, brother.”

The ‘Decibel’s 200th Issue Show Extremely Ex-Stream‘ will air on Friday, April 30th and will be free to watch. Midnight, Full Of Hell, Horrendous and Wake will also be performing. Keep your eyes on for more info on how to watch.

Khemmis entered Flatline Audio in Westminster, CO this past January to track their fourth studio album with producer Dave Otero (Cephalic Carnage, Allegaeon). A release later in the year is expected with more details to come.
