“The Head Up Project“, a 24-track spoken word poetry live album from late Deftones bassist/vocalist Chi Cheng, is coming to vinyl this spring. That effort features a spoken word performance Cheng gave of his poetry at The Paris Cafe in Sacramento, CA back in January of 2001. A May release date is expected with pre-orders available here.
Cheng passed away on April 13th, 2013 after being left in a semi-comatose state following a November 2008 car crash. He was found to have not been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and his friends and family have since been campaigning for seatbelt awareness via buckleupforchi.com.
