Clutch Announce ‘Clutch Collector’s Series’, Detail New Pressing Of “Blast Tyrant”


Clutch have announced the launch of their ‘Clutch Collector’s Series‘, which will feature newly remastered vinyl pressings of albums from their catalog. Each release will also feature reimagined artwork curated by a certain member of the band.

Drummer Jean-Paul Gaster is the first up to bat, having overseen the artwork overhaul of the first entry in the series, their 2004 album “Blast Tyrant“. That new pressing will be out on June 04th via the band’s Weathermaker Music label.

Each album will come pressed on colored 180-gram colored vinyl with extra heavy sleeves. The jacket is printed on metalized polyester paper and includes a numbered insert autographed by the band. This pressing will be limited to 5,000 copies (1,000 of which are available from the band themselves) with 3 more albums planned for the series. Pre-orders are available now at

News of the reissue arrives in celebration of “Blast Tyrant” officially turning 17 today, March 23rd. If you missed the news, the Clutch have commenced writing sessions for their 13th studio album.
