Peaceville Records founder Paul “Hammy” Halmshaw has fallen on hard times during the COVID-19 pandemic, having been diagnosed with a terminal heart disease. He said of his condition, “After a life in music I became seriously ill in lockdown. I found out I had hereditary dilated cardiomyopathy which is terminal.”
The illness has left him disabled and as such, this Justgiving campaign has been launched to help him fund £10,000 for a ground floor disabled access bathroom and bedroom.
Founded in 1987, Peaceville Records have put out releases from the likes of At The Gates, Opeth, Cradle Of Filth, Autopsy, Mayhem and many more over the years.
