Spiritbox Finishing Up New Album Sessions


Spiritbox are winding down the sessions for their first full-length album, having revealed that today (March 01st) is scheduled to be their last day in the studio. The band briefly commented of that on social media, offering:

According to the band, sessions for the outing commenced roughly three weeks ago. A 2021 release date is expected, though exact details are being kept under wraps for now. The band’s frontwoman Courtney LaPlante told Metal Hammer of their plans for the record this past December:

“We’re going to put out a full-length album. [It means] we don’t have to have every song we create feel like a single; we can experiment more and have more fun exploring different song structures. I just feel like, over the last couple of years, everyone in the band has decided that we also sometimes want to have fun when we’re playing our music!”
