Moonshine Bandits With Corey Taylor

See Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Rap In Country/Hip Hop Duo Moonshine Bandit’s “Live The Madness” Video

Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor guests on “Live The Madness“, a new track from country/hip hop duo Moonshine Bandits. The pairing came about after the band sent the song off to Taylor via his wife Alicia, with whom the duo had previously worked with on a music video.

Both Corey and Alicia appear in this newly debuted video for this new single, as do members of The Cherry Bombs. The Moonshine Bandits commented of that:

“We emailed the song over to Alicia and we told her that CT would be the perfect feature to have on this song. She showed it to Corey, and he loved it. Corey asked us, ‘What version of Corey do you want on the song (i.e. Stone Sour, acoustic Corey, metal Corey, rap Corey)?’ We responded that we wanted all the versions of Corey mixed into one. He crushed it!”

As for the song itself, Moonshine Bandits offered:

“The concept behind ‘Live The Madness‘ is to live your life full throttle. Always be willing to take that risk and challenge yourself. Celebrate life to its fullest extent. We wanted this song to have an energy that encourages people that it’s ok to go out and raise a little hell.”
