Miley Cyrus Has Tapped Elton John, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith & More For Her Metallica Covers Album

This past fall saw Miley Cyrus confirm that she had been working on a Metallica covers album. Now during a recent appearance on the ‘Capital Breakfast With Roman Kemp‘, she revealed that she has tapped several guests for the outing, including Elton John, Yo-Yo Ma and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. John will be guesting on a cover of “Nothing Else Matters” which was produced by Andrew Watt (Post Malone, Ozzy Osbourne). She commented:

“I did a Metallica cover of ‘Nothing Else Matters‘ featuring Elton John on piano. I’ve got Yo-Yo Ma, Chad Smith—so many all-stars.”

“I’m so excited about this collaboration. Andrew Watt produced it, and I’m really stoked. I mean, having Elton John and Metallica and me—I love it when ingredients don’t quite fit.”

Cyrus previously covered “Nothing Else Matters” live at 2019’s ‘Glastonbury Festival‘, audio of which can be heard below:
