Bury Your Dead With Myke Terry

Bury Your Dead’s Mat Bruso Says Myke Terry’s Contributions “Still Outperform Mine Every Month” On Spotify

Bury Your Dead frontman Mat Bruso has shared the below post spotlighting the contributions of former vocalist Myke Terry to the band and how they consistently remain among the band’s most popular tracks. Terry, now of Volumes, was let go unceremoniously from the band back in 2011 to make way for the return of Bruso.

Speaking via Instagram yesterday, November 30th, Bruso commented:

“Here’s a weird post. I know that this is the time of year where bands start posting how many streams they get and thanking fans, etc. I’ll probably do one of those too sometime. But, I just also wanted to post this. This is the last 28 days on Spotify. If you have ever been curious or doubted @myketerryble contributions to this band, here you go. He’s a big piece of what Bury Your Dead is and was.

His songs still outperform mine every month. I’m just proud to be in the mix with him in there. lol He didn’t need defending and this is coming out of nowhere, I know. But I wanted to say it. Super talented and we were lucky to have him. -*Mat

Terry and the band have since, ahem, buried the hatchet and performed together in early 2019. Replying directly on Bruso‘s post, Terry commented, “Love you forever brother. BYFD!🤘🏽❤️”.
