Beloved Ghouls

Sepultura, Exodus, Ex-Slayer, Etc. Members Unite As Beloved Ghouls, Debut Ross Robinson Produced Benefit Track

Sepultura vocalist Derrick Green, Suicidal Tendencies drummer Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, etc.) and Exodus guitarist Gary Holt (ex-Slayer) have launched a new benefit track under the moniker of Beloved Ghouls. That song is titled “Terrorized” and was produced by Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot). A guest appearance from Touché Amore‘s Jeremy Bolm can also be found on the cut.

The project was originally recorded some eight years ago according to Holt, who commented:

So everyone, check this out! Eight full years ago, myself, Dave Lombardo and Derrick Green got together with Ross Robinson and made some music. It sat in the can this entire time, and was never used for its original purpose, but here it is!!

Beloved Ghouls are proud to release this song, ‘Terrorized‘ crushing spooky and the only time the four of us have released ANYTHING together!! And ALL proceeds go to save our stages! Check this shit out!! It’s bad ass, and for a great cause!!!!

The proceeds from it will go towards Save our Stages, which seeks to raise awareness and funds for independent venues currently suffering amid the COVID-19 pandemic. You can donate directly here.

Robinson commented:

Beloved Ghouls are all lifers who live to give back to the music that gave us all so much. Hopefully this track resonates for you like it did for each of us while making it. Just laughing and being fully stoked while swimming in our thrash metal roots… we are all excited to donate to Save Our Stages, it’s such an important cause. We must work to keep our music venues alive.”

Green added:

“It brought me an over whelming amount of joy to collaborate with friends and colleagues who I have great admiration for to create such a kick ass song. Truly a remarkable experience that I’m thankful to be a part of.”
