Greg Puciato & David Yow In 'Metavision'

Greg Puciato (Ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan, Etc.) To Appear In New Horror Short Film ‘Metavision’

Greg Puciato (Killer Be Killed, The Black Queen, ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan) appears in an upcoming horror short film titled ‘Megavision‘. It was directed by Jai Love (‘Dead Hands Dig Deep‘) and marks Puciato‘s acting debut. The short also finds David Yow of The Jesus Lizard making an appearance as well. It is currently set to premiere this Thursday, October 15th, as part of the ‘Screamfest‘ event in Van Nuys, CA.

Puciato said of the opportunity:

“I had actually just seen Jai’s film, ‘Dead Hands Dig Deep,’ when he reached out to me. Life is full of synchronicities. This is the second time I’ve been asked to kill someone in a video of some sort, the first time being in a music video. I dunno what that says about me. This time it was like ‘Can you kill someone, while cackling with laughter, with David Yow?’ Uh yeah, I think I’m exactly your guy. Tell me when and where.”

News of the film follows the recent release of Puciato‘s debut solo album “Child Soldier: Creator Of God“, which saw a release earlier this month. Next up on for Puciato on the music front is the sophomore album from his supergroup with Soulfly, Mastodon, etc. members, Killer Be Killed. That effort, “Reluctant Hero“, will be out on November 20th via Nuclear Blast.
