Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross Have Won An Emmy For Their ‘Watchmen’ Score


Nine Inch NailsTrent Reznor and Atticus Ross have added an Emmy to their accolades. The duo took home the award tonight (September 17th) for the ‘Outstanding Music Composition For A Limited Series, Movie Or Special (Original Dramatic Score)’ category for their scoring work on HBO‘s TV adaptation of ‘Watchmen‘. They won the award in particular for their work on the premiere episode of the series, ‘It’s Summer And We’re Running Out Of Ice‘.

The pair were also nominated for the ‘Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics’ category for their work on the track “The Way It Used To Be“. That composition which was featured on the ‘Watchmen‘ episode, ‘This Extraordinary Being‘. Labrinth beat them out on that category for their work on the song “All For Us” from the HBO series ‘Euphoria‘.

With a Grammy an Oscar and now an Emmy to their credit, Reznor and Ross are but a Tony award away from attaining the esteemed ‘EGOT’ status.
