The United States To Increase Visa Fees For Foreign Touring Artists By As Much As 53%


Foreign artists hoping to tour the United States when the COVID-19 pandemic subsides have been dealt a new blow. The fees of temporary employment visas required to tour the country have increased by as much as 53%.

The P class visa has increased some 51% and will now cost $695.  Meanwhile, the O class visa fee, which can apply to select artists as well, has increased some 53% from $460 to $705. A 15 business day waiting period will be instituted for applicants, though a fast track service that costs over $1,000 will be made available.
