You’ve likely seen that Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl recently accepted a drum-off challenge from 10-year-old multi-instrumentalist Nandi Bushell. While Grohl played the Foo Fighters staple “Everlong” as part of the initial challenge, he fired back at Bushell by challenging her to cover “Dead End Friends” from his side project, Them Crooked Vultures.
Bushell has now responded, delivering the below cover of that particular song. She commented of that:
“It was an honour to be part of the most #EPIC #ROCK in battle in history! With the most awesome, fun, kind and legendary Dave Grohl! Thank you for giving me this incredible opportunity. I am extremely grateful. The Rock Gods of old are happy!”
Grohl himself responded:
Ok, @Nandi_Bushell ……you win round one….but it ain’t over yet! Buckle up, cuz I have something special in mind…
Stay tuned,
