Devin Townsend Explores “Synchestra”, “Devlab” & “The Hummer” On His Latest Podcast Episode


Devin Townsend has newly shared the eighth episode of his ‘Devin Townsend Podcast‘ below. The series has seen him explore various albums from throughout his discography with this latest episode combining multiple releases. Among the albums discussed this time out are The Devin Townsend Band‘s 2006 outing “Synchestra” as well as his 2004 solo album “Devlab” and its 2006 follow-up “The Hummer“.

Townsend of course perpetually has several irons in the fire with this Saturday, September 05th slated to find him performing an ambitious livestream with his ‘Volume 2’ touring lineup. That roster includes guitarist Wes Hauch (ex-The Faceless/Black Crown Initiate), bassist Liam Wilson (Azusa, ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan) and drummer Samus Paulicelli (Decrepit Birth). The ‘Volume 2’ lineup was created to perform the heavier material from Townsend‘s back catalog, including his work with Strapping Young Lad. Tickets are available here.

October 23rd will see the release of his new live Blu-ray/album, “Order Of Magnitude – Empath Live Volume 1“, which was filmed at the Roundhouse in London, England and was filmed back on December 12th, 2019.
