Ihsahn Debuts Video For Cover Of A-ha’s “Manhattan Skyline”, Leprous’ Einar Solberg Guests

Ihsahn has released his cover of A-ha‘s “Manhattan Skyline“, which sports a guest turn from Leprous frontman Einar Solberg. Their rendition of the track will appear on Ihsahn‘s approaching new EP, “Pharos“, out September 11th. You can take it in via the below video directed by Troll Toftenes.

Ihsahn commented in part of the track and the more melodic nature of “Pharos“: “I never wanted to be as one-dimensional as this black metal image. When I turned 40, I stopped caring but if you start out playing black metal when you’re 16, it’s hardly because you want to be everybody’s favorite.”
