Silverstein Release Alternate Version Of “Where Are You”, Reschedule 20th Anniversary Tour To 2021

Silverstein have released an alternate version of their song “Where Are You“. This different version of the track was recorded during the sessions for the band’s latest release, “A Beautiful Place To Drown“. Frontman Shane Told commented:

“Despite not being a single ‘Where Are You‘ was one of our favorite tracks on ‘A Beautiful Place To Drown‘. We decided to put a different spin on it and show how its composition can shine both as a heavy, riffy jam, and also as a chill, reflective arrangement.

And after such great feedback from ‘Quaranstein‘, recorded live from our homes, we wanted to plan something special when it was finally safe for the five of us to get together. So here is a ‘Next Level’ livestream, using the best sound and video equipment available to capture the ultimate performance of our classic songs.

And get ready for some surprises, this will be unlike any live stream you’ve seen before.”

As Told teased above, the band will be hosting a new 20th anniversary livestreamed event on Sunday, July 19th. That performance will be filmed on four separate cameras and recorded via a vintage, 1971 8014 Neve console. Tickets for that event are available here. A portion of the proceeds from it will go towards the National Independent Venue Association.

Silverstein had originally intended to be touring in support of their 20th anniversary this spring before postponing their plans to this summer. Those dates have since been rescheduled once again and will now take place in early 2021.

The trek will see the band performing 3 sets, including a greatest hits set, an acoustic set and a live performance of their 2005 sophomore outing “Discovering The Waterfront“. Here’s the new schedule:
