Sevendust guitarist/vocalist Clint Lowery has been sharing quarantined performances of tracks from his catalog quite regularly as of late, delving into songs from both his recent solo album “God Bless The Renegades” and his past project Call Me No One. His most recent offering however finds him serving up a cover of Nine Inch Nails‘ “Hurt“, you can check that out below. He commented alongside it:
“My cover of “Hurt” from NIN. Trent Reznor has been a hero of mine for many years. Musically no one has ever consistently inspired me. From the first song I heard until the most current piece he has released I’ve found tremendous inspiration and escape in his work.

I don’t consider myself a lead singer in fact, but I do believe what I sing. I believe the words and feel the pain, happiness and relief when I sing.”
You may recall earlier this year that Lowery revealed he would love to play guitar for Nine Inch Nails. As for Lowery‘s other quarantined performances, you can dig into them here.
