Mantar Announce ’90s Covers Album, Share Their Take On Mazzy Star’s “Ghost Highway”


July 26th will see the release of a new ’90s covers album from Mantar. Brutal Panda Records will be handling the release of the album, which they have christened “Grungetown Hooligans II“. Pre-orders for it are up here.

Among the artists covered on the outing are Mazzy Star. That outfit’s 1990 debut album “She Hangs Brightly” will turn 30 tomorrow, May 21st, and the band have released the below video of their cover of “Ghost Highway” from it in celebration.

Their take on that track will also appear on “Grungetown Hooligans II“, which itself sports the following track listing:
