Bandcamp Have Once Again Waived Their Revenue Share Today

Bandcamp have once again waived their revenue share on all orders placed throughout their site during today, May 01st. This means that 100% of the proceeds of any music or merch item purchased via their service today will go to the artist (or respective label).

The initiative comes in a bid to help aid artists during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Bandcamp previously waived their fees on March 20th, 2020 and saw $4.3 million generated in sales on that day. If today doesn’t work for you, the service will also be waiving their fees on June 05th and July 03rd.

Should you be in the position to help out some of your favorite acts, it may be worth it for you to head to and pick up some releases from them. Meanwhile, a bunch of artists/labels are also running specials today, you can find a full list of what’s being offered here.
