Mike Patton (Faith No More, Etc.) Shares His List Of Music & Movies To Get You Through Quarantine

Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, etc. frontman Mike Patton has provided a list of music and films that have been getting him through the ongoing quarantine. Admittedly though, Patton isn’t entirely too inconvenienced by the current situation, given his ever-present workload. He told Rolling Stone of what he has been up to lately:

“Writing. Writing. Writing. Working on several records at once, which isn’t abnormal for me, but it is somehow refreshing to not have other distractions interfering. However, the gravity of this situation does make things feel … uh, different.

Although I am lucky enough to hopefully survive this, I have had an entire year of tours canceled, between different bands, and that certainly does weigh on me, the bands I’m working with, and obviously the fans who may or may not have purchased tickets! So … basically, it sucks.

But personally, this lockdown lifestyle is not terribly different from my normal routine, as I’m quite hermetic and private. But sometimes it does resonate deeper — like, when you want to hit a restaurant with family or friends. No. What do we do? We adapt or die.”

As Patton vaguely suggested above, several legs of Faith No More‘s planned touring this year have been cancelled or postponed amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions put in place to limit the spread of it. At least one of the projects he has been working on lately is a re-recording of Mr. Bungle‘s early demo “The Raging Wrath Of The Easter Bunny“, which the group reunited to tour in support of earlier this year.

As for Patton‘s musical and film suggestions, head over to for the lists.
