Silent Planet Release Instrumental Version Of “The Night God Slept”, Label Vows To Let Them Keep 100% Of Initial Sales

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic appears to have hit Silent Planet pretty hard. To help combat that, they’ve just put out an instrumental version of their debut album, “The Night God Slept“, which will wholly benefit them directly for the first 48 hours. The group commented:

“For the first 48 hours all proceeds will go to the band. You can download and pay whatever you want and the money goes straight to us.

We hope you enjoy this unique twist on things. There’s probably a few details that you’ll catch that might have slipped past you until now. Anyways, we hope you like it. Thanks for supporting us in this tricky time.

And thanks to our label, Solid State Records, for always putting the music first and believing in weird bands like us. Love y’all!”

You can pick up that version of the record over at this location. The band had originally planned to be touring through the spring until measures instituted to help curb the spread of COVID-19 put a damper on their plans.
